Types of data we collect

Mailing list subscriptions & Event Invitations

We collect your name and email address in order to send you invitations or information about upcoming events via our Landing pages or website signup forms. These mailing lists are not shared with any other companies. We use a third-party provider, mailchimp.com, The Rocket Science Group, LLC d / b / a Mail Chimp, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA (http://www.mailchimp.com/) to deliver our newsletter and occasionally Eventbrite (Eventbrite, Inc., a Delaware corporation, with its principal place of business at 155 5th Street, Floor 7, San Francisco, CA 94103, Reg. No. 4742147 (“Eventbrite US”) for our event invitations. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using Mailchimp services to monitor our e-newsletters. If you registered for one of our events via Eventbrite and therefore purchased goods or services from us and left your contact details with us (name, email, position and company website) you will receive invitations for forthcoming similar events as this is considered relevant and of interest to your commercial activity or personal interest. We do not have to obtain separate consent from you in accordance with § 7 Abs. 3 UWG.

Removal from our mailing list is in any case possible at any point by writing an email to faye@fayecardwell.comor or by clicking on the unsubscribe button on the emails received.

We use the data you provide to prepare badges to identify you at some of the events that we organise. You are not obliged to wear these badges but it is useful for other guests and the hosts if you do so.

Contact Form

When you contact us (for example, by contact form or e-mail) personal data is collected. Which data are collected can be seen from the respective contact form. This data is stored and used solely for the purpose of answering your request or for establishing contact and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in answering your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, then additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request, if it can be inferred that the matter in question is finally clarified and provided that no statutory storage requirements are in conflict.
