Types of data we collect
Google Analytics

Mailing list subscriptions & Event Invitations
We collect your name and email address in order to send you invitations or information about upcoming events via our Landing pages or website signup forms. These mailing lists are not shared with any other companies. We use a third-party provider, mailchimp.com, The Rocket Science Group, LLC d / b / a Mail Chimp, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA (http://www.mailchimp.com/) to deliver our trade and international wine lovers in Munich newsletter and occasionally Ticket tailor (Zimma Ltd) for our event invitations. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using Mailchimp services to monitor our e-newsletters. For our Get Comfy with Wine – Women who love 🍷 newsletters and challenges, we use Email Octopus. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using their services. As with our other mailing lists, you can unsubscribe to mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails. Once you register for a challenge we do not have to obtain separate consent from you to be on the mailing list in accordance with § 7 Abs. 3 UWG although we have included a check box to conform to the double opt-in requirement.
Removal from our mailing list is in any case possible at any point by writing an email to faye@fayecardwell.comor or by clicking on the unsubscribe button on the emails received.
We use the data you provide when registering for events to prepare badges to identify you at some of the events that we organise. You are not obliged to wear these badges but it is useful for other guests and the hosts if you do so.
Contact Form
When you contact us (for example, by contact form or e-mail) personal data is collected. Which data are collected can be seen from the respective contact form. This data is stored and used solely for the purpose of answering your request or for establishing contact and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in answering your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, then additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request, if it can be inferred that the matter in question is finally clarified and provided that no statutory storage requirements are in conflict.
Payments via Stripe
For payment transactions for events we use Stripe. End User Personal Data is shared with us and other parties to enable or “process” the transaction. For example, when you choose to use a payment method for the transaction with Stripe or with Link (e.g. credit card, debit card, or direct debit), the third party provider of your payment method will receive Transaction Data that includes your Personal Data. When you use Link, we also receive Transaction Data that includes your Personal Data and, limited information about your payment method.

Disclosure of your information
We do not communicate your data with any other companies including the wineries that participate, and fund, the events that we organise.
