The Consorzio Vino Chianti Classico’s has created a programme to create Ambassador’s in its main markets who then become reference points for the producers and the region. After the US and Canada, the consorzio decided to host the competition in Germany in 2020.
The competition was promoted across Germany and the first leg was held online in November 2020. Due to covid restrictions, the finals were postponed until June 2021 and held in Munich during the Chianti Classico Collection Connection event. We were involved in all steps, from the promotion of the event to the management of the finals and the ceremony dinner in which Sebastien Wöll was crowned Germany’s first Ambassador of Chianti Classico.
